"We're proud to tell you that the members Cal Gamma chapter were locked up on
February, 25 2010...that's right, the chapter's Chaplin Kevin Stolzenbach went
behind bars to help Jerry's Kids© and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. In
order to be released on good behavior the chapter had to raise a bail of $1250.
The bail went towards sponsoring an MDA child for one year, which included
clinic visits, flu shots, mobility equipment, support groups, as well as
MDA's summer camp.

MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS
and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also
provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and
education. MDA combats neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide
research, comprehensive medical and community services, and far-reaching
professional and public health education.

At the banquette Cal Gamma was one of two donors to receive the Executive Lock
Up Bailraiser award and also achived the MDA Grand Club award for their great
charitable act. Out of seven UCSB greek houses that originally participated, Cal
Gamma was the only house to finish the Lock Up and donate to MDA. The boys were
very proud to be a part of a young kids life and help make a difference!"
